Helvetia is a charming cottage, full of natural light in the summer and surprisingly snug in the winter, whether the cosy wood-burner is on or not. It has 2 double bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with king-size. There is a good sized kitchen and bathroom, and a beamed sitting/dining room with a large inglenook fireplace. Helvetia also has a sunroom with amazing uninterrupted views across the beach to the sea and the white cliffs of Dover - this room is perfect for nature lovers: sit back and watch hares, foxes and diverse birdlife and see the fishing boats bringing in their catch. Helvetia has large gardens, front and back, and ample parking space.

Our family has lived on, and fished from, the Dungeness estate for 250 hundred years and we also run the local little fish shop just yards from Helvetia where you can buy fish and crabs straight off our boats, the same boats you can see from the cottage! Our daughter Kelly runs the adjoining Snack Shack which serves up delicious lobster lunches from the boats' catch.
